Dartmouth women's crew took an early lead and slowly increased it to win by a half length over Northeastern with Rhode Island and Boston College trailing far behind. The Big Green covered 2000 meter course on the Charles River in 7:02.9 to the Huskies 7:04.9, with URI at 7:15.5 and BC at 7:35.2. Both NU and Dartmouth were even at the settle, but by 500 Dartmouth had a two seat lead. The Big Green increased it to three seats at the 1000 and a half length at 1500 maters  Dartmouth and held its advantage as both crews sprinted to the finish line. This was the 18th rowing of this regatta, with Northeastern claiming 11 wins and Dartmouth 7. Next week the women's crew will race Pennsylvania and Syracuse in Philadelphia.
