2010-11 Women's Basketball schedule

Northeastern women's basketball head coach Daynia La-Force Mann has announced the CAA conference schedule for the upcoming 2010-11 season. The 18-game conference schedule completes the challenging 11-game non-conference slate that was previously announced.
Northeastern opens CAA play on the road, as the Huskies travel to Harrisonburg, Va. on Sunday, Jan. 2 to take on the James Madison Dukes. The Huskies return to Boston later that week for a two-game home stand. Northeastern will host Delaware on Thursday, Jan. 6 and then welcome William & Mary to Solomon Court on Sunday, Jan. 9.
The Huskies hit the road for their next three games with the first stop in Hempstead, N.Y. to face the Hofstra Pride on Thursday, Jan. 13. Northeastern then travels to Richmond, Va. for a matchup against VCU on Sunday, Jan. 16. The Huskies head further south on Thursday, Jan. 20 to battle the Panthers of Georgia State before returning to home to host the Seahawks of UNC Wilmington on Sunday, Jan. 23.
Northeastern closes out the month of January with two games at home. Towson travels to Boston on Thursday, Jan. 27 to take on the Huskies. Northeastern then plays host to George Mason on Sunday, Jan. 30.
The Huskies begin the month of February with a visit to Delaware on Thursday, Feb. 3 and then return home for a matchup with VCU on Sunday, Feb. 6.
A trip to Norfolk, Va. is up next for the Huskies, as they face Old Dominion on Thursday, Feb. 10. The team then travels to Philadelphia, Pa. for a matchup against Drexel on Sunday, Feb. 13.
Northeastern will then play host to Hofstra on Thursday, Feb. 17 before traveling to North Carolina to face UNC Wilmington on Sunday, Feb 20.
February concludes with two home games for the Huskies. Northeastern welcomes Drexel to Solomon Court on Thursday, Feb. 24 and then hosts Georgia State on Sunday, Feb. 27.
Northeastern closes the regular season on the road in Fairfax, Va. with a game against George Mason on Wednesday, March 2.
Northeastern returns 10 letterwinners from last season's squad that went 13-18 overall and 7-11 in the CAA. The Huskies advanced to the CAA Championship quarterfinals for the third-consecutive season and fourth time in the last five years.
The Huskies will welcome three newcomers to the team, including freshmen
Jewel Tunstull and
Sierra Mendenhall and sophomore transfer
Annette Kristiansen. Transfer
Christine Huber will be eligible to compete in the spring semester.
