Jamie Conroy led the Huskies with 10 points and tied for the team-high with five rebounds, as Northeastern fell to Old Dominion, 69-44, Thursday evening at the Ted Constant Center in Norfolk, Va.
The Huskies fall to 8-15 (3-9 CAA) while Old Dominion improves to 16-7 (10-2 CAA).

Deanna Kerkhof added eight points, two steals and two rebounds. Senior

Jackie Cook led the Lady Monarchs with 16 points while Alena Voronina (12 points) and Jasmine Parker (11 points) both reached double-figures for ODU.
ODU opened the game with a three-pointer from Parker to open a 5-0 run for the Lady Monarchs before Mayberry notched Northeastern's first points. Kerkohf then drilled a three to knot the score at 5-5. Kquanise Byrd retaliated on the other end with a three for ODU to send the teams into a timeout at 15:43 with the Lady Monarchs leading 8-5.
The Huskies came within one off a
Jewel Tunstull layup but the Lady Monarchs widened the margin with a pair of free throws that sparked an 13-0 run to give ODU a 19-7 lead with 10:29 left on the clock. Mayberry scored the Huskies first point since the 15:34 mark with a free throw at 9:47. Conroy followed with a basket to bring the Huskies within 11, at 21-10. After an ODU basket, a jumper from Mayberry kept the margin at 11 with 7:43 left on the clock.
Kerkhof's free throw brought the Huskies within 10, but ODU used a 5-0 run to take a 15-point lead, 28-13, with 3:54 remaining in the first. Huber drew a foul while posting a layup and was able to convert the three-point play and Iervolino hit a three to put Northeastern within 11. Huber brought ODU's lead down to single-digits, but Parker regained the double-digit lead for the Lady Monarchs with a three from the top of the arc. ODU earned a basket from Voronina before Northeastern ended the half with a basket from Kerkhof to send the team's to the locker rooms with the Huskies trailing. 35-23.
Tia Lewis opened the second half with a basket for the Lady Monarchs who embarked on a 6-0 run to take a 41-23, forcing Northeastern to burn an early timeout at 17:49. ODU continued its run following the break with three unanswered points before Conroy nailed a three to give the Huskies their first points of the half at 16:46.
The Lady Monarchs used a 23-2 run over the next nine and a half minutes to take a 66-28 lead before Tunstull got the Huskies back on the board at 7:04. The margin would prove to be too much for the Huskies to overcome, as they only managed to bring the gap down to 25 points, as ODU claimed the 69-44 victory.
The Huskies shot 34.7 percent from the floor (17-of-49) while the Lady Monarchs shot 35.6 percent (26-of-73). The difference came on the boards, as ODU out-rebounded NU, 56-29, and gathered 31 offensive rebounds leading to 31 second-chance points. Northeastern's 22 turnovers led to 33 points for ODU.
The Huskies will look to snap their four-game skid with Sunday afternoon when Northeastern visits Drexel. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
