The Northeastern women's rowing team overcame challenging course conditions, including strong wind gusts, to win three of four races over Columbia in Orchard Beach, N.Y., on Sunday.

The second varsity eight, third varsity eight and varsity four all posted victories.

In the varsity eight race, Columbia crossed the line just 2.2 seconds ahead of Northeastern to win the Woodbury Cup. The Lions clocked in at 7:04.2, while the Huskies posted a time of 7:06.6.
