The Northeastern women's rowing team finished second in the fifth Beanpot Championship over the 2,000 meter Charles River course.

Radcliffe, the winner, finished at 6:43.9 to Northeastern's 6:52.0, with BU at 6:59.7, MIT at 7:02.4, and Boston College at 7:19.6. The Huskies and Cliffes were even at the settle but at 500 meters Radcliffe took three seats on Northeastern while they held three seats over BU with MIT and BC trailing badly. At 1,000 Radcliffe extended its margin to six seats and the Huskies had open water over BU. By 1,300 Radcliffe had open water and by 1,500 a two length lead.

Radcliffe leads the Beanpot series with four victories to Northeastern's one.

The Huskies' 2nd Varsity and Varsity 4 each took second behind Radcliffe. The 3rd Varsity beat out Radcliffe to take first place in the 3rd Varsity race with a time of 7:15.0 to Radcliffe's 7:16.9.

Northeastern will be back in action May 13-15 for the EAWRC Championships in Camden, N.J.
