Results
The Northeastern women's track & field team registered four top-five finishes en route to a 10th-place team finish on Friday night at the Great Dane Classic (hosted by Albany) after a total of 31 points. The University of Connecticut ran away with the team crown (114.2) in the 25-team field at the Armory track in Manhattan.
The Huskies performed at their peak in the field events on Friday evening with three of the four top-five finishes falling under that category. Senior captain
Saleena Abdur-Rashed recorded Northeastern's best placing of the night, running through the 60-meter hurdles challenge in 8.57 for the runner-up position.

Julia Westover churned out a fourth-place mark in the 20-lb. weight throw after clearing 16.97m (55'8.25) while classmate
Rachel Taback just missed the top five with a sixth-place toss of 16.01m (52'6.5) in the same event.
Sophomore
Georgia Pingue assembled a fifth-place combo of 11.85m (38'10.5) in the triple jump while third-year athlete
Jillena Decarteret cleared her best mark of the season for fifth place, as well, with a mark of 3.75m (12'3.5).
Senior transfer
Nia Howard picked up a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a spring of 5.72m (18'9.25). Sophomore
Olivia Stevens finished in 24th place in the same event with a finish if 5.09m (16'8.5). Finishing out the field events, senior
Ida Cance tied for 15th in the high jump 1.60m (5'3) while both junior
Lauren Bennett and rookie Dana Scheweiger tied for 23rd place in the pole vault after jumping over 3.15m (10'4).
Rookie
Victoria Alexander finished in 12th and 15th, respectively, with marks of 7.82 and 25.39 in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes. Veteran
Sarah Trotman's mark of 25.63 was good for 24th in the 200-meter dash while her pace of 8.01 was 30th best in the 60-meter dash. Howard finished 32nd in the deep 60-meter field to the tune of 8.03. Freshman
Jessica Dunnigan finished the 200-meter dash after crossing in 25.64 for 25th place.

Monet Brathwaite and sophomore
Camille Henry finished 13th and 41st, in that order, with tiems of 58.26 and 1:01.13 in the 400-meter dash while second-year runner
Chelsea Hudson offered up a 16th-place time of 1:19.07 in the 500-meter dash.
Senior
Christiana Gallagher was the Huskies' final point scorer after her ninth-place clip of 2:17.36 in the 800-meter run (top 10 are scoring participants).

Courtney Mortimer cross the 1,000-meter run in 3:07.73 for 15th while junior
Katie Barrett and sophomore
Danielle Klein posted respective runs of 10:19.91 and 10:33.84 for 12th and 20th place.
Northeastern returns to the Reggie Lewis Center to host the first-annual Joe Donahue Games on Friday, Feb. 3, recently renamed from the Boston Indoor Games to honor the late Huskies' Hall of Fame throwing coach, Joe Donahue.
