The Huskies tied the game in the bottom of the third when

Connor Lyons, who was hit by a pitch earlier in the inning.
Northeastern loaded the bases in the third and sixth, but couldn't break through and the game stayed deadlocked at 1-1 to start the seventh.
The Rams broke through against Leenhouts in the eighth, scoring five runs on four hits. With runners on second and third, Cullen hit an RBI single to give the Rams its first lead since the third inning. Jon Leroux caught Perkins stealing to end the eighth inning.
Jason Vosler started off the bottom of the eighth with a double for the first extra-base hit of the game for the Huskies and Fonseca singled to left field to put runners on the corners with none out.
Alex McKeon then singled to right field, scoring Vosler and moving Fonseca to second.
Connor Lyons fell behind in the count and was able to fight it back to 3-2, but he lined out to Vimael Machin and Fonseca was doubled up at second, calming the Huskies hopes for a comeback.
Hanlon came back on in the ninth and allowed runners to reach second and third, but got out of trouble when he struck out Cullen to end the inning.
The Huskies had two on in the ninth after two walks by closer Blake Hauser but the game ended when Vosler flew out to right field.
