Friday Night
The Northeastern men's and women's teams had three Huskies compete on Friday night at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. Northeastern sported its distance contingent in a strong showing for NU.
First-year harrier Stephen Sollowin set a personal record in the 5,000-metr run with a time of 14:46.17. The Weymouth, Mass. native outkicked 43 other runners at Weaver Track & Field Stadium.
Junior
Katie Barrett competed in the same event and crossed in 18:07.33 for a 79th place.
Senior
Annie Scully toed the line in her first steeplechase event in over two years, placing 28th with a time of 11:13.04.
Saturday Night
The majority of the Northeastern men's and women's track & field team competed in their respective events on Saturday, turning in some strong numbers across the board.
Senior
Saleena Abdur-Rashed posted the highest placing, tying for fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles with a clip of 14.16. Senior Andrew Staples also captured fourth place, clearing 7.27m (23'10.25) in the long jump. Staples' mark was his second-best of the season.
The Huskies' throwers continued their dominance as sophomores Max Milder and James Hall finished in eighth and 12th, respectively, with tosses of 57.58m (189'3) and 54.29m (178'1) in the hammer throw. Milder's mark was a personal best and ranks amongst the top throws in the country to date.
Veteran Patrick Jablonski's yank of 15.75m (51'8.25) in the shot put yielded 13th place while sophomore Christopher Reider finished 10th in the javelin throw with a pitch of 58.48m (191'10). In the discus throw, Jablonski placed sixth with a mark of 49.36m (161'11). Junior
Julia Westover and
Rachel Taback turned in 15th and 23rd place marks in the hammer throw, respectively, of 51.08m (167'7) and 47.10m (154'6). Taback also secured 21st in the discus throw with a heave of 39.61m (129'11).
In the pole vault, junior
Jillena Decarteret cleared 3.55m (11'7.75) tied her with Penn's Jillian Hart for eighth place.
Lauren Bennett's vault of 3.20m (10'6) yielded 15th place in the same event.
Senior
Nia Howard performed a strong mark in the long jump, clearing 5.48m (17'11.75). Sophomore Jackson MacDonald and junior Tejorn Davis finished 11th and 16th, in that order, with leaps of 6.74m (22'.1.50) and 6.27m (20'7) in the same event.
In the triple jump, Davis' combination of 14.04m (46'0.75) was good enough for 11th while rookie Jason Matthews captured 13th with a mark of 12.81m (42'0.50) to close out the Huskies' field performance.

Sarah Trotman, freshman
Jessica Dunnigan, Howard and Abdur-Rashed joined forced for fifth place with a time of 46.98. The men's team, including sophomore Alex Shapiro, freshman Jared Lane, senior Darius Velez and MacDonald were 12th-place finishers with a clip of 42.89. The women's 4 x 400-meter relay of freshman

Christiana Gallagher, sophomore
Chelsea Hudson and Trotman also finished 12th with a performance of 3:53.64. The mark stands as the Huskies' best mark this season.
In the 1,500-meter run, a rookie and a veteran went at it as freshman Zachary Fraeilli finished 34th with a time of 4:00.92 as senior Sebastian Putzeys crossed in 4:12.70 for 53rd.
In the women's 400-meter dash, Brathwaite took 35th with a lap of 1:00.08. Shapiro ran on the men's side, finishing in 37th with a jaunt of 50.12.
Continuing in the sprints game, sophomore
Ashlee Pitts' mark of 12.50 in the 100-meter dash was good for 37th. Dunnigan's time of 12.77 in the same even slotted her in 43rd.
Lane performed well in the 110-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 15.19 for 14th place as Hudson's loop of 1:03.03 in the 400-meter hurdles earned her 20th place.
In the 200-meter dash, Abdur-Rashed was Northeastern's top finisher, running half the track in 25.11 for 12th place Trotman's time of 25.51 was good enough for 23rd while Pitts' time of 26.67 marked her down in 40th place. Lane's 200-meter dash time of 21.94 topped many other sprinters as the Pistcataway, N.J. finished in 12th place.
Gallagher PR'd in the 800-meter run to the tune of 2:15.85 to tie for 18th while senior
Courtney Mortimer's time of 2:17.66 was good for 32nd. On the men's side, freshman Conor Lyons finished up in 35th place with a time of 1:55.57.
In the
Sophomore
Danielle Klein closed out with a personal best of 10:21.23 for 10th place in the 3,000-meter run.
Northeastern will send a small group of throwers to the Penn Relays next weekend and are tentatively schedule to compete at Brown University before the CAA Championship starts on May 4 in Fairfax, Va.
