NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Danielle Klein finished 10th overall to lead the Northeastern women's cross country team at the Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday. Klein's time of 18:38.94 led the Huskies to an eighth place team finish.

Jocelyn Hubbard exhibited stronger performances on a great course.
Power and Hubbard were neck and neck throughout the 5k race, with Power finishing 35th overall with a time of 19:40.52 and Hubbard trailing close behind in 36th at 19:42.50. Marist claimed the 2-4 spots in the race to run away with the team lead over CCSU, Hartford and Connecticut.
Lauren Wardwell clocked in at 20:09 for a 44th place finish while
Caitlin Cloonan had the final time towards the team score at 20:27, good for a 52nd place finish.
Lauria Clarke (53rd; 20:33) and
Eryn Wheeler (54th; 20:34) also competed for the Huskies.
“It was a great day for Northeastern cross country,” Erickson said, “and we are really looking forward to the New England Championships in a couple of weeks.
The Huskies will be back in action on Oct. 7 for the New England Championships in Westfield, Mass.
