NORMAN, Okla. – The No. 30 Oklahoma Sooners (2-2) scored six runs in the third inning to salvage a series split with the Northeastern baseball team (2-2) in a 13-4 decision on Sunday afternoon at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

• Oklahoma reestablished its two-run lead in the sixth when Sheldon Neuse tallied his fourth single of the day to score Southerland, before a sac fly by Alex Wise increased the lead to 10-4.
• The Sooners tacked on another run in the seventh when pinch hitter Blake Brewster looped a single to left field to bring in Cade Harris.
