BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team will return to the court Saturday night against Towson at Matthews Arena at 7 p.m.

The Huskies are looking for revenge in a rematch with the Tigers, who ended the Huskies' eight-game win streak two weeks ago on their home turf.

Though Towson won the last meeting, Northeastern has won 10 of the last 13 games against the Tigers, including a CAA Tournament victory last year

LAST TIME VS. TOWSON
• A 13-0 second half run was not enough as NU fell just short at Towson, 74-67 at SECU Arena.
• The loss was the first of the CAA season for the Huskies and snapped an eight-game win streak that dated back to Dec. 10, 2016.
• Towson jumped out to a fast lead in the first half, building up an 18-point advantage 11 minutes into action, a lead that Northeastern came close to tying, but were unable to overcome.

T.J. Williams finished with a team-high 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting, leading all scorers with 14 first half points, moving into 26th place on the Northeastern all-time scoring charts past Harry Barnes (1,114; 1965-68) with 1,120 career points.

Devon Begley added 15 points, including a few big 3-pointers that kept the Tigers in check while
Alex Murphy added 13 points and eight rebounds and
Anthony Green also finished with eight rebounds and six points.

• Through his first 21 games of the season,
T.J. Williams has recorded 13 20+ point games on the year, including two 30-point efforts, with the first one coming against Boston University in the season opener followed by a 30-point game against Drexel (Jan. 12)
• The last Husky to record as many 20+ point games through the first 21 games of the season was J.J. Barea back in his senior season in 2005-06, who had 13 such games to start the year over 10 years ago
• Reggie Lewis, had 14 such games to start his senior season in 1986-87, 30 years ago
• During that stretch, Williams has three double-doubles, two via points-assists and one via points-rebounds
• Lewis had six double-doubles, all of the points, rebounds variety while Barea tallied five double-doubles during that stretch all of which game via points-assists
• Through the first 21 games, Williams is averaging a CAA leading 21.4 points per game, 5.3 apg, and 4.8 rebounds per game
• During that same stretch, Lewis averaged 23.2 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 1.7 apg while Barea was averaging 21.1 ppg, 8.7 apg, and 4.6 rpg

• Northeastern has tallied a 3-point field goal in 111 straight games after the Huskies' 7-for-32 performance Thursday vs. Elon
• The Huskies began their streak on Dec. 21, 2013 with a 5-for-21 effort against UW-Milwaukee after going 0-11 from the field against Fairfield on Dec. 13, 2013
• Since then, Northeastern has combined for 776 3-pointers for an average of 7.0 per game during that stretch
• As a team, the Huskies have been adventagous behind the arc, leading the CAA with a .387 3-point field goal percentage, knocking down 184 threes (4th) on the season in 476 tries

Alex Murphy recorded his first career double-double against Elon (Jan. 26) on a 10-point, 11-rebound effort
• The double-double was the sixth of the season for the Huskies as he was the fourth player to notch one in 2016-17
• Against Drexel (Jan. 12),
Maxime Boursiquot notched Northeastern's fifth double-double of the season with a career-high 17-point, 11 rebound effort
• He became the second Husky rookie to record a double-double on the season joining
Bolden Brace
• In Northeastern's Steve Wright tournament finale against Maine, two Huskies notched double-doubles, both career firsts for those respective student-athletes

Bolden Brace accomplished the feat to become the first duo to have a double-double since
Zach Stahl (19 points, 11 rebounds) and
David Walker (18 points, 13 assists) achieved the feat in a triple overtime game last season vs. Hofstra (Jan. 21, 2016)
• Though the double-double was not the first of Williams' career, it was the first of the points/assists variety as he tallied 26 points and 10 assists in the effort, a career high for Williams
• Brace, a rookie for the Huskies, earned his double-double in just his fifth career game via 10 points and 10 rebounds
