FIRST HALF
The Huskies got on the board first, tallying the first four points of the game via a Green offensive board and putback and a pair of Pusica free throws, but as soon as the Huskies got ahead, the Bonnies tied it up.
Â
Green added back-to-back dunks to make it an 8-7 game, and despite Adams heading to the bench with two fouls in the first five minutes picked up while guarding Pusica, St. Bonaventure took an early 17-11 lead thanks to a pair of deep threes from Mobley.
Â
The Huskies responded once again with threes from Begley and Brace that evened the score at 21-all.
Â
Another St. Bonaventure lead was cut to just one-point after a Green tip-in, to make it a 29-28 game, but the Bonnies went out on an 8-0 run, utilizing six free throws to garner a 37-29 advantage before a Begley trey ended the run.
Â
Mobley responded with yet another three, en route to his 19 first half points playing in all 20 minutes of action while he added three rebounds while going 4-for-7 from deep.
Â
The teams traded baskets as the clock wound down on a foul-filled first half that saw the Bonnies on top 44-35.

SECOND HALF
St. Bonaventure started off the second half on a 10-1 run before Begley floated a runner as the shot clock expired for Northeastern's first basket of the second half, five minutes in.
Â
The Bonnies run extended to 18-3 following an Adams three forcing Coen to call a timeout with 13:28 remaining. After the timeout,
Myles Franklin checked in and promptly drew a foul, getting to the line and jumpstarting a Husky scoring spurt.
Â
After scoring just four points through the first eight minutes of action, the Huskies tallied nine in the next four-minute stretch and ultimately outscored the Bonnies 17-15 through the remainder of the game. But it wasn't enough as St. Bonaventure came away with the 84-65 win.
