The Huskies will begin the week off with a Thursday night meeting at Elon at 7 p.m.

The Huskies are 1-1 all-time at Alumni Gym winning last season's CAA opener over the Phoenix 86-79.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
• Elon is 17-12 on the season, and are 9-7 in conference play, heading into the final week of the regular season
• The Phoenix are 9-3 at home this season on the season, only falling to the College of Charleston at home in conference play, posting a 6-1 record during conference play

• Elon is led by Tyler Seibring who is averaging 14.1 points and 6.6 rebounds a game while adding 25 blocks on the season

T.J. Williams went in for the game-tying basket with time winding down in regulation and his driving layup rimmed out as Northeastern fell in a tight game to Elon 51-49 at Matthews Arena
• The loss was the Huskies' first on their home turf this season and their fourth straight while Elon won its third straight contest.

Alex Murphy added 11 points and 10 rebounds and finished with his first career double-double hitting some big threes down the stretch for Northeastern
•His double-double marks the sixth of the season for Northeastern as he becomes the fourth different Husky this year to notch a double-double.

LAST WEEK IN NU BASKETBALL
• The Huskies started the week off with a Thursday night meeting against first place UNCW at Matthews Arena
• The Huskies could not get their offense going in the first half and saw themselves down by 20 at halftime, 39-19 to the Seahawks
• However, Northeastern was undeterred and instead went on a 16-1 run after the half to make it a six-point game thanks to a slam by
Anthony Green that jumpstarted the streak
• During the stretch, Green,
T.J. Williams and
Alex Murphy accounted for all 16 of Northeastern's points
• Later in the second half, Williams and Green cut the Seahawks lead to just one with 52.6 seconds left, but UNCW came away with a steal and sealed the win with four free throws down the stretch
• Williams finished with a career-high 33 points on the night, tallying 27 of those in the second half matching UNCW's entire second half output
• On Saturday afternoon, five different Huskies registered a double-digit scoring effort, the fourth time this season they have done so, but Northeastern fell 85-71 to Charleston
