2017 Northeastern Baseball Schedule
AMHERST, Mass. – Tuesday's baseball game between Northeastern and Massachusetts, originally scheduled to take place at the Minutemen's Earl Lorden Field, has been postponed due to field conditions following Monday's rainfall, as announced by the Massachusetts athletic department.

At the present time, there is no date for when the game will be rescheduled.

Northeastern (8-13, 1-2 CAA) is coming off its first CAA series of the 2017 season, during which the Huskies won Friday's opener against Elon, 9-2, before coming away empty during the final two games of the weekend. NU corner infielder

Mike Fitzgerald was the top performer among the Huskies' arms, allowing one run and striking out five across six and one-third innings en route to receiving his second winning decision of the 2017 campaign.
The Huskies are back in action on Wednesday, March 29, as Northeastern hosts Rhode Island at Friedman Diamond during Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day. First pitch between the Huskies and the Rams is set for 3 p.m. Tickets to Northeastern home games at Friedman Diamond are free.
