2017 Northeastern Baseball Schedule
 
TOWSON, Md. – Friday's series-opening game between the Northeastern baseball team and Towson, originally scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at the Tigers' John B. Schuerholz Park, has been postponed due to field conditions following Thursday's rainfall, as announced by the Towson athletic department. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 1, beginning at 12 p.m.
 
Rain began falling Thursday night in the Towson area and is projected to continue until midnight on Friday. Forecasts are estimating more than two inches of rain to accumulate across the region.
 
Saturday's doubleheader will be the fourth the Huskies will endure this season, having amassed a 4-2 record during the previous three twin billings. NU is also 3-0 this year during the first game of a doubleheader.
