AUSTIN, Texas -- After 90 minutes of back-and-forth soccer, the Northeastern women's soccer team (5-3-0) fell to Texas (7-0-0), 3-2, in its first overtime match of the season.
The loss wraps up Northeastern's two-game trip to the Lone Star State with a 1-1-0 showing.

Hannah Lopiccolo registered her 50th career point when she scored the game-tying goal in the 59th minute. Valentina Soares Gache notched her first goal of the season on a free kick in the 14th minute. She bent a shot around the goalkeeper to open up a 1-0 lead for the Huskies. Goalkeeper
