BOSTON – Fresh off Friday's 11-point victory against Delaware, the Northeastern women's basketball team will look to stay hot against the league's second-place team, Drexel, on Sunday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m., when the Huskies pull into the Daskalakis Athletic Center in Philadelphia to take on the Dragons. NU has won two straight CAA games and five of its last seven games away from Cabot Center.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Â
Northeastern and Drexel's series history witnessed a shift in dominance following the conclusion of the 1999-2000 season. The Huskies successfully won 16 of the first 20 series meetings, stretching from the two team's Jan. 24, 1992, inaugural meeting at Cabot Center to Northeastern's regular-season sweep of the Dragons during the first month of the new millennium. Since then, Drexel has posted a 25-4 record against the Huskies, with three of Northeastern's four series wins taking place at Cabot Center. NU has also needed at least one overtime period to claim each of its two most recent series victories (2014, 2016).

• Northeastern is off to its best eight-game start to CAA play (5-3) during its 13th season in the conference. The Huskies arrive in Philadelphia in a tie for third place with Delaware (5-3 CAA), but currently hold the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Blue Hens courtesy of Friday's 64-53 win. Drexel (7-1 CAA) holds a two-game lead on both NU and Delaware in second place.
• On Friday, the Huskies collected their first win at Delaware since Feb. 19, 1998, snapping a 15-game stretch without a true road victory against the Blue Hens. Northeastern can end another streak on Sunday against Drexel, which has won six straight series meetings dating back to the Huskies' 73-65, overtime win at the Daskalakis Athletic Center on Jan. 8, 2016.
•
Jess Genco rides a streak of 16 consecutive double-digit scoring games into Sunday's matinee against the Dragons. Genco leads the CAA in 3-point field goals per game (3.2) and ranks second in 3-point field goal percentage (39.5), fourth in scoring (15.0 points per game), and fifth among NCAA Division I student-athletes in minutes per game (38.79).
