HANOVER, N.H. – The Northeastern men's track team took first place at the Dartmouth Relays, and the women's team took third place on Sunday. Overall, the Huskies posted six first-place finishes, 20 top-three finishes and 54 top-10 finishes.
The men dominated the throwing, with
Ryan Kim and
Eric Mellusi taking first and second place in the shot put, while Mellusi also took first in the weight throw.
Travis Kartz earned second place in the pole vault while
Jordan Samuels took fourth place in the long jump.
Quinn Litherland and
David Adams took first and second in the 400m.
Connor Donovan,
Marc Rienas and
Dan Romano all took second place in the 800, one mile and 3000m, respectively.
Shawn Bleichert took first place in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.24. The junior's time is the seventh best time in indoor program history.
On the women's side,
Jessica Scott crossed first in the 60m with a time of 7.72. Scott's time ranks 11
th on Northeastern all-time indoor list.
Patrice Williams and
Amy Piccolo took second place in the 400m and 800m, respectively.
Paige Suse earned second place in the high jump, while
Shraeya Srinivasan finished fourth in the triple jump.
Leeyan Redwood and Mya Muse finished second and fourth in the shot put and weight throw, respectively.
Northeastern's relay teams were dominate in New Hampshire. The men's 4x400 relay team (Jewett, Literland, Moorer, Adams) took first place, while the 4x800 relay team (ienas, Navic, Keller, Kunde) took second place.
Both the women's 4x200 relay team (Wyand, Scott, Hanlon, White) and 4x400 relay (Piccolo, Adler, Walak, Myers) finished in third place.
