CORAL GABLES, Fla. –
Donatien Djero led the way for the Huskies, as Northeastern competed in its first outdoor meet of the 2017-18 season. Djero set a new Northeastern record in the 100 meter with a time of 10.46, breaking Lonnie Hooker's, a NU Hall of Famer, record from 1987.
The freshman took first in the event, while sophomore
Naukym Morton finished third with a time of 10.58, the fifth best time in Northeastern history.

Senior
Kyle Darrow also had a great meet, finishing in the top-two in two events. Darrow took first in the long jump with a mark of 7.40 meters. He finished second in the 200 meter with a personal-best time of 20.98, the second best time in Northeastern history.

Patrice Williams posted a outdoor personal best in the 200 meter with a time of 24.40, the seventh best time in NU indoor history, on her way to an eighth-place finish.

Eric Mellusi secured two top-five finishes, taking second place in the discus, with a personal best mark of 53.47 meters, and fourth place in the hammer throw.
Ryan Kim secured third place in the shot put, and
Erica Belvit placed seventh in the hammer throw.

Dametrius O'Connor and
Quinn Litherland both posted personal-best times in the 200 meter. O'Connor crossed at 21.55, while Litherland finished with a time of 11.16.
Paige Suse took fourth in the high jump, while
Jordan Samuels finished fourth in the 110 meter hurdles.
