PROVIDENCE, N.J. – Nine different Huskies posted personal-bests in the Ocean State Invitational at Providence College on Friday. Northeastern also earned eight top-10 finishes at the meet.

Junior
Marc Rienas led the way for the Red and Black, earning first place in the men's 800 meter championship with a outdoor personal best time of 1:49.29. Senior
Jay Navin also posted a personal-best time in the 800 meter with a time of 1:52.77 on his way to second place.

Freshman
Eric Clay and Tyler Miller finished ninth and 12th, respectively, in the 5,000 meters. Clay crossed at 15:03.41, a new personal best for the New Jersey native. Junior
Dan Romano also earned a personal best in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, finishing in fourth place with a time of 9:14.19.

On the women's side, senior Brook Wojeski had the best finish of the day, taking second place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase and a personal-best time of 10:41.93. Sophomore Louiza also earned a personal best, running a 17:23.93 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
