The updated NEIBA Division I poll will be released on Monday, April 16.

NEW ENGLAND TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS

The Huskies were ranked as New England's No. 2 team, according to last week's New England Baseball Journal regional Division I power rankings, released on April 9. Northeastern had debuted in the outlet's preseason rankings at No. 5 and has since held a top-two spot during every week since Feb. 26, including three straight No. 1 rankings from March 5 to March 19.

SERIES TRENDS

• Tuesday's game will mark the 50th series meeting between Northeastern and Brown. The Huskies lead the all-time series, 32-17.

• NU is 16-11 when opposing the Bears in Providence. The Huskies are seeking their first road win at Brown since the 1995 season (second try).

• Northeastern and Brown will resume their all-time series for the first time since March 8, 2015, when NU was defeated, 13-6, by the Bears during a neutral-site game at Central Connecticut State. Current Huskies Nolan Lang, Max Burt, and Kevin Martinis made appearances that afternoon.

The Huskies have collected two neutral-site wins apiece against both Creighton (No. 25) and Missouri (No. 31), in addition to a pair of series-finale, road victories at Auburn (No. 14) and College of Charleston (No. 45).
