NEWARK, Del. – Saturday's regular-season finale between Northeastern and Delaware, scheduled to take place at Bob Hannah Stadium, has been cancelled due to inclement weather, as announced by the Delaware athletic department on Saturday morning. The game will not be rescheduled.
Â
As a result of Saturday's cancellation, Northeastern completed the 2018 regular season with 33 victories – the most regular-season wins in program history – in addition to its 17-6 record during CAA games that won the Huskies their second consecutive outright regular-season championship.
Â
Northeastern's .739 winning percentage during CAA games this season also marks the program's highest attained during its 13 seasons in the league.
