BOSTON – Two Northeastern student-athletes –
Mollie Rosen from the women's soccer team and
Loren Lassiter from the women's basketball team – were selected as recipients of the University's prestigious Huntington 100, which recognizes 100 outstanding students annually for their achievements at NU.
Nearly 600 nominations were submitted for the Huntington 100 by faculty, staff and peers at Northeastern. From that pool, the top 100 candidates were identified and rewarded with a reception at the home of Northeastern University President Joseph E. Aoun.
Rosen earned a perfect 4.0 GPA as a Bioengineering major. The Mequon, Wisconsin native has been on the Dean's List every semester at NU and has also earned 'Top Dog' status (3.8 GPA or higher) every semester on Huntington Avenue. In March, Rosen was honored with Northeastern's prestigious President's Award, which recognizes the top 10 students in each class by GPA.
Lassiter graduated cum laude from NU with a 3.66 GPA and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double minor in English and Ethics. Lassiter was a four-time Dean's List honoree and previously appeared on the CAA's All-Academic Team in 2015-16. On the court, Lassiter started all 31 games as a senior in 2017-18, and notched a season-high 11 points against William & Mary in February.
