CHELMSFORD, Mass. – Turning heads in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) during the first half of the 2018 summer season, Northeastern baseball sophomores Jeff Costello, Brandon Dufault, Henry Ennen, and Sam Jacobsak have been selected to the league's all-star rosters, as announced by the FCBL on Friday.

Together, the quartet of Huskies will compete in the 2018 FCBL All-Star Game, which will take place on Tuesday, July 17, at Holman Stadium – the home of the Nashua Silver Knights – in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Costello and Jacobsak will represent the Huskies on the Dodgers roster – named in tribute of Holman Stadium's 80th anniversary season and the former Nashua Dodgers, who called the park home from 1946 to 1949. Dufault and Ennen will oppose the Dodgers as teammates on the Nashua roster.

Northeastern's four FCBL All-Star Game selections during 2018 are the most by any school across all three NCAA divisions.

As of July 12, Costello has made 29 appearances and 28 starts for the Nashua Silver Knights, ranking sixth in the league in batting average (.315), seventh in slugging percentage (.444), and in a tie for fifth in runs scored (25). He has also totaled 11 RBIs and stolen nine bases.

On the mound, Dufault (Nashua Silver Knights) and Ennen (Worcester Bravehearts) rank first and second among qualifying FCBL pitchers in ERA, boasting respective marks of 1.55 and 2.22. Dufault (2-1) is tied for fifth in the league in strikeouts thrown (32), ranking immediately ahead of Ennen (3-0), who is tied for eighth (31 strikeouts).

Jacobsak has made five relief appearances for the Brockton Rox, registering 12 strikeouts and a save in addition to sporting a 2.40 ERA.

FCBL All-Star Game festivities on July 17 will begin at Holman Stadium as early as 9:45 a.m., leading up to the 7:05 p.m. first pitch between the Dodgers and Nashua. Fans are encouraged to visit thefuturesleague.com to access the complete pregame schedule and learn more information.
