BOSTON -- The Northeastern men's and women's track and field team capped off their indoor season at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships this weekend, recording historically strong individual performances with the women's team finishing fifth overall and the men 14th.

The meet took place over a three-day span from Friday through Sunday, with Northeastern athletes competing on all three days. The Huskies sent 20 men and 21 women to the meet, emerging with a combined 20 personal bests, 18 all-time NU top-ten marks, and two NU program records.

Of those accolades, the men's team saw seven personal bests, eight top-ten marks, and one program record en route to a 14th-place overall finish in the IC4A Championship. The 4x400 relay team of Quinn Litherland, Phillips Magre, Brandon Moorer, and David Adams stole the show for the Huskies in the preliminary round, combining for a program-record time of 3:11.65, beating out Litherland, Moorer, Adams, and Austin Lin's time of 3:12.09 at last year's Championships. No other team in the preliminaries recorded a time below 3:13.00.

Five Huskies also etched their names in the record books in individual events. David Adams again found his way in, recording the sixth fastest indoor 200m in program history (21.65) in the preliminaries before besting that with the fourth-fastest program time (21.53) in the finals. Both times were personal bests for Adams, who finished eighth in the finals of the event. Adams also placed seventh in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.23.

Phillips Magre added two top-ten 400m times, recording sixth-best times of 48.28 in both the preliminaries and finals, a personal best and good for sixth in the finals at the Championships. Alexander Korczynski also notched a sixth-best program time, this one an 8:15.96 in the 3000m, where he placed eighth in the finals.

The Huskies shone in the 5000m, with three runners placing in the top 15. Dan Romano (14:13.92) and Cameron Dickson (14:16.64) placed fifth and sixth, respectively, while Christian Stafford's time of 14:48.12 placed him 15th.  Romano and Dickson's times were both personal bests and placed them fourth and sixth on NU's all-time indoor list for the 5000m.

Kurt Robakiewicz participated in the heptathlon, placing fifth overall with 3,631 points. Naukym Morton placed ninth in the 60m (7.03), while Austin Lin finished 10th in the 500m (1:07.66).
