RESULTS
BOSTON—The men's and women's track and field teams both took home second-place at the New England Indoor Track & Field Championships on the final day of competition at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.
Khailah Griffin led the women's team with a first-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a personal-best of 7.67. Griffin also placed third in the long jump and 200-meters.
Donatien Djero led the men's team, placing first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.83.
Louiza Wise placed second in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:42.68 while
Amy Piccolo led the team in the 800 meters with a time of 2:12.40 and a first-place finish.
Leeyan Redwood placed first in the shotput with a mark of 48 feet, 10.75 inches.
On the men's side,
Alexander Korczynski placed third in the mile (4:08.32).
Phillips Magre took home first in the 400 meters with a time of 48.53.
Nick Young placed second in the 1000 meters (2:28.68) and
Eric Clay placed second in the 3000 meters (8:23.37).
UP NEXT
The Huskies head back to Boston University for the David Hemery Invitational, with the women competing on Friday, Feb. 14 and the men competing on Saturday, Feb. 15.
