WINNING CURES ALL
The Huskies are 9-2 over their last 11 games, including taking 4 of 5 in the Snowbird Baseball Classic, Northeastern snapped an 11-game losing streak to Florida Atlantic, taking the series last weekend with two straight wins.
Kyle Peterson went 5-for-5 on Saturday with three runs and two RBIs to help lead the Huskies to a 10-7 win. On Sunday,
Sebastian Keane pitched a career-high 7.0 innings pitched, giving up only two hits, one run and striking out seven in a 6-1 win.
Teddy Beaudet leads the Huskies with a .400 batting average, while
Corey DiLoreto has a team-high three home runs, third-best in the CAA.
CENTENNIAL SEASON
The Huskies are celebrating their 100th season of baseball at Northeastern University this year. Throughout the season NU will post memorable moments, recognize distinguished alumni and teams, and the centennial celebration will culminate during the weekend of May 8-10, when the Huskies host their Alumni Weekend festivities around their home CAA series with preseason favorite UNCWÂ at Friedman Diamond.
