BOSTON – The Northeastern baseball program has announced its 2022 schedule which includes several big non-conference matchups and 18 home contests.
- The Huskies will start of the 2022 campaign with the Penn State Tournament in Cary, North Carolina on the weekend of February 18-20. They face Long Island, Monmouth in a doubleheader, and the host-school, Penn State.
- The annual Spring Training bout with the Boston Red Sox takes place in Fort Myers on Friday, February 25.
- Northeastern wraps up the tournament scene with the 2022 Snowbird Classic in Port Charlotte; they'll face off with Marshall in a double-header on February 26, and Merrimack. College on the 27th.
- Two high-profile road trips await the Huskies in the second month of play, with a trip to NC State March 4-6, and a trip to Clemson March 11-13.
- Northeastern fans have 18 chances to see the Huskies at home this season, the first of which is the team's home opener against UMass on Tuesday, March 8, at 3pm.
- The reigning CAA Champion Huskies open up conference play at the College of Charleston on March 25; their CAA home-opener comes the following weekend, April 1-3, with a home series vs. William & Mary.
