PHILADELPHIA – Caroline Sweeney scored her first career goal and 
Cailin Hart scored her third of the season to lead Northeastern (2-6, 0-2 CAA) as they fell to Drexel (4-4, 2-2 CAA) at Buckley Field on Friday.
 
Sweeney put the Huskies on the board with a rebound goal off a penalty corner late in the first quarter. With the assist of 
Lauren Rowe and 
Maliea Kelso, Hart scored halfway through the fourth quarter on a penalty corner to give the Huskies their second goal of the game. Hart now has three goals this season, all off of penalty corners, which puts her second on the team in goals.
 
Erin Savage made five crucial saves for the Huskies as she faced 10 shots on goal and five corners from Drexel.
 
Drexel's goals came from Shannon Tringola, Avery Powell, Eline Di Leva and Chandler McFeeley.
 
Northeastern will be back in action at Hofstra for another CAA match on Sunday at 1 p.m.
