Cross Country Travels to NCAA Northeast Regionals

BOSTON – The Northeastern cross country program will head to Bronx, N.Y., for the NCAA Northeast Regionals this Friday, Nov. 11. The women's 6K event will take off at 11 a.m., while the men's 10K event will start at 12 p.m.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  • DOUBLE CHAMPS -The Huskies are coming off a performance at the CAA Championships that earned a second-place finish for the both the men and the women. Alexander Korczynski and Abigail Hassman won the individual titles in their respective races.
  • NOT THE FIRST TIME – Out of the 16 Huskies set to travel to the regionals, 14 will be competing for the second consecutive season. Isa Meyers and Malav Mehta will be joining for their first trip.
  • BACK TO THE BRONX – Northeastern will be back in the Bronx for the NCAA Northeast Regionals for the first time since 2016, where the women finished in 17th and the men finished in 14th.
If the Huskies qualify, the NCAA National Championships will be in Stillwater, Okla., the following weekend, Nov. 19.
