THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- NEW PUPS — The Huskies welcome six new runners to the team this season: Owen Blaisdell, James Ciaccio, Brady Danyluk, Bilal Elhaji, William French, and Jack Seagroatt. These six newbies will compete in the Friar Invitational to begin their collegiate careers.
- NEW ENGLAND DUEL — The Huskies will face Brown, Boston University, Dartmouth, Rhode Island and Providence. These six teams saw each other last in the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regionals.
- COURSE DETAILS — Northeastern is no stranger to the Highland Park Course, as the women's team competed in Attleboro last weekend. This time, the men will be running the 6k course. The course itself is named in honor of Attleboro native, retired U.S. Olympic marathoner, and track and field coach, Mark Coogan.
After this weekend's race, Northeastern will travel to New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 20, for the Maribel Sanchez Invitational hosted by Dartmouth.
