DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Northeastern men's basketball team closes out the non-conference slate on Wednesday afternoon when the Huskies take on Davidson at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
1. THE SERIES WITH DAVIDSON - The Huskies and Wildcats are meeting for the fifth time in series history, and second time in as many seasons. Davidson owns a 4-0 advantage in the series. In last season's matchup, NU trimmed a 17-point deficit all the way down to four with 6:50 to play, but couldn't complete the comeback as Davidson received 35 points from Foster Loyer in a 79-69 victory.

2. BLOCK PARTY - Northeastern is 35th in the nation and first in the CAA averaging 5.0 blocks per game, led by
Alexander Nwagha's 11 and 10 from
Collin Metcalf. The 50 blocks through 10 games have the Huskies on pace to record more than 100 blocks in a season for the first time since 2016-17 season.

3. SHOULDERING THE LOAD -
Jahmyl Telfort has put the Huskies on his back early in the season, reaching the 20-point plateau four times highlighted by 26 points and nine rebounds (tied for a career-high) against Boston University on Opening Night. Since then, Telfort has reached double-figures in all but one game, including 23 points vs. Harvard on Nov. 16. He is currently fourth in the CAA in field goal perc. (47.5%) and seventh in ppg (15.6).
