Cherry Places Second in the 800M with the Fourth-Best Indoor Time in NU History to Lead Huskies at BU

RESULTS

BOSTON –
 Freshman Reed Cherry placed second in the men's 800 meter with the fourth-best indoor time in Northeastern history (1:48.87, PB) to lead the Northeastern track and field teams at the Boston University Scarlet and White Invite on Friday.

Cherry currently ranks 13th in the country in the men's 800 meter.
  • Senior Phillips Magre recorded the seventh-best indoor mark in the high jump (2.06m/6-9, PB) and placed second in the event.
  • Senior Michelle Nkoudou earned a second-place finish in the women's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.75. On the men's side, senior Mayowa Osunsami placed third in the event with a time of 8.08.
  • In the men's 60-meter dash, junior Noah Sweeney finished fourth with a time of 6.99.
  • Sophomore Mariah Fede ran a time of 24.70 to finish seventh in the women's 200 meter. 
  • Junior Madison Neuner finished eighth in the women's 5,000 meters with a time of 17:47.93.
