BOSTON – On the final day of competition at the ECAC/IC4A Championships, graduate student
Donatien Djero broke the indoor school record in the men's 200-meter finals with a second-place time of 21.18 (PB) and placed third in the men's 60 meter (6.84) while sophomore
Tessa McClain placed fourth in the women's 1,000 meters with a record breaking and personal-best time of 2:47.54.Â

Both teams placed second overall at the meet. The men finished with 73 points while the women's finished with 62 points. Junior
Dominique Biron was named the 2022 ECAC Most Outstanding Performer of the meet.

Sophomore
Abigail Hassman ran a new school indoor record in the women's 3,000 meters (9:28.12, PB) and finished fifth in the event. In each of their events, Hassman, Djero and McClain all broke their own school records.Â
- Sophomore Ava Duggan earned a second-place finish in the women's mile with the second-best indoor time in school history (4:46.95).
- Graduate student Dametrius O'Connor ran the second-best indoor time in NU history (21.30) in the men's 200 meter, finishing fifth in the event.Â
- The women's distance medley relay team, comprised of freshman Nicole Dunbury, junior Sydney Robinson, senior Lucinda Shotts and McClain, placed second with a time of 11:35.20. The group ran the second-best indoor time in school history.
- In the men's 800 meters, freshman Reed Cherry ran a second-place time of 1:48.81.
- Sophomore Madeleine DuChaussee finished fifth in the women's shot put with a career-best mark of 13.83 meters (45-4.5).
- Junior Patrick Mullen recorded the third-fastest indoor time at Northeastern in the men's 3,000 meters (8:08.98, PB)
- Djero, O'Connor, senior Phillips Magre and senior Mayowa Osunsami finished fourth in the men's 4x400 meter relay with the eight-best indoor time in program history (3:13.04).
