Dominique Biron broke her own school record in the heptathlon with a second place and personal-best score of 5,459 points to lead the Northeastern track and field teams on Saturday at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational and Ocean State Invitational.
On day two of the heptathlon, Biron placed second in the 800 meters (2:18.55, PB), third in the javelin throw (33.24m/109-1) and finished fourth in the long jump (5.80m/19-0.5)

Hurricane Alumni Invitational
- Mayowa Osunsami took home first in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.38.
- Dametrius O'Connor matched his personal-best time in the men's 100 meter-dash (10.65) and finished 11th in the event.
- Phillips Magre finished 11th in the men's 400 meter with a time of 48.63.
Ocean State Invitational
- Shannon Trevor won the women's 3,000 meters with a time of 10:19.28.
- In the women's 400 meter, Khamil Evans placed second (58.55) and Lucinda Shotts came in fourth place (59.07).
- Julietta Ambartsoumian finished fourth in the women's discus throw with a career-best mark of 40.12 meters (131-7).
- Kaitlyn Cavallaro finished sixth in the women's javelin throw with a mark of 32.80 meters (107-7).
- The women's 4x400 meter relays teams earned fourth (4:07.32) and fifth place finishes (4:10.02).
- Tremain Robinson threw a distance of 50.07 meters (164-3) to finish eighth in the men's hammer throw.Â
