Cherry Named CAA Track Athlete of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Northeastern sophomore Reed Cherry was named the Men's CAA Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced today.
  • Cherry set the Northeastern school record in the 800m, finishing in 1:47.84 in his first event of the year.
  • The time is the fastest in the CAA this season and ranks 12th in the NCAA to this point.
 
Cherry and the Huskies will return to competition next weekend (Feb. 3-4) for the Harvard Crimson Invitational and the Brue Lehane Inivitational.
