RALEIGH - The Northeastern track and field team opened the weekend of competition at the first day of the Raleigh Relays on Thursday evening, highlighted by
Kyle Sarneys top-10 3000m steeple finish.
Sophomore
Jacob Redman and sophomore
Jack Mattingly participated in the 1500m. Redman finished in 125th place (3:50.67) and Mattingly followed in 201st place (3:55.99).
Graduate student
Kyle Sarney earned ninth place in the 3000m steeple event, crossing the finish line at 8:41.67.
Sophomore
Nico Boyle ran the 10000m, finishing in 30:25.74 and 76th place.
The Huskies will compete again tomorrow, beginning at 2:50 p.m. in the men's 400m.
