AMESBURY, Mass. — Junior
Devon Levi of the No. 15/16 Northeastern men's hockey team was named the Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Month for February, as announced by Hockey East on Tuesday.
In the month of November, Levi tallied a 3-2-2 overall record that included shutouts over Vermont and UMass Amherst, as well as two shootout victories where he made stops on all opponent opportunities.
Through seven games, Levi recorded a .920 save percentage and a 2.10 goals against average, while tallying 229 saves. In the Husky's lone weekend game against Providence, he recorded a season-high 54 saves against the Friars.
A semifinalist for the 2023 Mike Richter award, Levi also helped the Huskies to their fourth Beanpot title in the last five years, earning himself both tournament MVP and the Eberly award for best goaltender of the tournament.
Additionally, Levi leads both the Hockey East conference (.951) and the NCAA (.934) in save percentage. He continues to lead Hockey East in wins (13), goals against average (1.69), shutouts (6; third in the NCAA) and saves (695; third in the NCAA – 976).
In February, Levi was named the Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Week twice (Feb. 13 / Feb. 20) by Hockey East, for the fifth time this season and eighth time in his career.
