Women’s Hockey Announces 2023-24 Slate

BOSTON— Head coach Dave Flint of the reigning six-time Hockey East Champion Northeastern women's hockey team has announced the Huskies' 2023-24 slate. The schedule features 15 home games in Historic Matthews Arena.

Northeastern finished last season with a 34-3-1 overall record and a 24-2-1 Hockey East record. The 34 wins marked a program record, and the Huskies owned an 18-0-1 record in the friendly confines of Matthews Arena.

Northeastern continued rewriting the record books last season, capturing a record sixth-straight Hockey East title. The Huskies made a third-straight appearance in the Frozen Four and claimed a record 18th Beanpot title.

The Huskies will open their 2023-24 schedule with a two-game series against the reigning CHA Champion Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday, Sept. 23 and Sunday, Sept. 24.  Northeastern will open Hockey East play at Boston University on Friday, Oct. 6.

Northeastern's schedule features a trip to Sacred Heart's Martire Family Arena for the third edition of the Ice Breaker Tournament, organized by the Hockey Commissioners Association from Oct. 20-21. The Beanpot opening round is hosted by Harvard in 2024 and the Huskies will face the host on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The Beanpot Championship and Consolation games will be played at TD Garden for the first time in tournament History on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
