AMESBURY, Mass. — Marking his first-ever league honor, freshman
Dylan Hryckowian was named the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week by Hockey East.

This past weekend, Hryckowian recorded a career-high three-points en route to helping the Northeastern Huskies to a 3-3 tie with #3 Quinnipiac University. The Quebec native tallied back-to-back primary assists on the Huskies' opening goals and with 8:30 left in the third period, Hryckowian scored the game-tying goal on a short-handed breakaway. Additionally, he finished with four shots on goal and a plus-one rating.

The 5-10 forward currently leads all Northeastern rookies in points (11), goals (2) and assists (9).Â

Hryckowian and the Huskies are back to Hockey East play on Tuesday, Jan. 9th against the Boston University Terriers at Agganis Arena, starting at 7 p.m.
