ORLANDO — Huskies alumni
Cameron Dickson Northeastern '21 and Michael Duggan Northeastern '19 both competed at the 2024 Team USA Olympic Marathon Trials Saturday.
The first Husky to finish was Duggan, who crossed the line at 2:20.03, finishing in the top half of all competitors at 57th. Dickson followed with a time of 2:29.30
Dickson, a Londonderry, New Hampshire native, owns the program's second-best 10000m time after he ran a 29:24.94 at the IC4A Championships in 2021 and is second on the program's performance list in the cross country 8K with a time of 23:45.7.
Duggan, a Mansfield, Massachusetts native, ran for four year with the Huskies as a distance runner, competing at the CAA Championships, IC4A Championships and New England Championships. Duggan set a personal best in the 10000m at the CAA Championships in 2017, finishing fifth in the race, and set his 3000m personal best (8:42.41) at the BU Indoor Opener in 2018.
