West Long Branch, N.J. — The Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams are headed to Monmouth University for the 2025 CAA Championships on Friday, Oct. 31. The meet will be held on Monmouth's home course in West Long Branch, New Jersey, featuring a 6K race for the women at 10 a.m. followed by an 8K race for the men at 11 a.m.

Abigail Hassman placed first individually in the women's race, earning All-CAA honors for the third straight season.
2. A FAST PACK: The 2025 season has been one of momentum and milestones for Northeastern. The men have earned a first place victory in all three meets that they have competed in. The season started strong at the Suffolk Short Course Classic, followed by the Maribel Sanchez Invitational, and most recently the IC4A/ECAC Championships. Patrick Cantlon finishing the 8K with an impressive time of 24:23.5. The women's team have earned a victory of their own, placing first at the Suffolk Short Course Classic.
3. CONFERENCE COMPETITION: Last season on the mens side, Stony Brook took home the title. So far this season, the Seawolves have won two of their three meets, making for some fierce competition. On the women's side a team to look out for will be the Tribe. William & Mary has won a meet this season, as well as coming in second in two others.
Looking ahead, the Huskies will have a chance to compete at the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Friday, Nov. 14 in Hopkington, N.H..
