BOSTON - The Northeastern men's and women's cross country teams will head to Bronx, N.Y. on Friday, Oct. 17 for the IC4A/ECAC Championships. The women are set to race in a 6k course starting at 10:45 and the men will follow with an 8k race beginning at 11:30. Both races will be held at Van Cortlandt Park.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:Â
- LAST TIME OUT –Northeastern returns to the IC4A/ECAC Championships for the first time since 2023. During the 2023 season, both programs earned podium finishes in the Bronx — the women captured first place out of 36 teams, while the men finished third out of 34. Â
- THE PACK IS BACK – The Huskies will race for the first time this October after competing in two meets earlier this season. Twelve women and eleven men will represent Northeastern at Van Cortlandt Park.Â
- EYES ON THE PRIZE – The Huskies aim to build on their strong starts to the season. The men have claimed two first-place finishes so far, while the women have notched one.
The Huskies will race next at the CAA Championsips on Halloween in West Long Branch, N.J..
