BOSTON — Junior
Ethan Exilhomme broke out of the gate in the first heat of the 60m hurdle preliminaries and finished second with a time of 7.65 seconds at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, earning him an automatic qualification to the championship round.
The Tewksbury, Massachusetts native had the fifth-fastest time overall to earn a spot in Saturday's final, which begins at 4:40 p.m. on ESPN+. Exilhomme will have the opportunity to become Northeastern's first-ever individual NCAA Indoor Champion in any event and just the second NCAA Champion to don the Red & Black.
This is Exilhomme's second NCAA Track Championship appearance after finishing 17th in the 110m hurdles at the Outdoor Championships a year ago.
