WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Northeastern graduate student
Windsyr Maughan, a member of the Northeastern women's rowing team, was named the Elite 90 recipient for the NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Championship. Maughan is currently an Environmental Science & Policy major who holds a 4.0 GPA and is the winner of the award for her second consecutive season.

This season, Maughan played a pivotal role in the varsity eight boat for the Huskies. Highlighted by Northeastern's 11
th-straight CAA title, the Florida native helped NU bring home the Council Cup for the second-straight season.

On the water, Maughan has been named a 2025 All-CAA honoree. In the classroom, she was named a 2024 CRCA Scholar-Athlete and is a five-time Dean's List honoree, seven-time Top Dog honoree and six-time CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll member.

The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.

Eligible student-athletes are sophomores or above academically who have participated in a sport for at least two years with their school. All ties are broken by number of credits completed.
