BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team is set to host the Hofstra Pride at Parsons Field on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. The game will stream live on FloCollege and NESN.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- THE RECAP: Northeastern enters Sunday's game after a three-game road stint to open CAA play. The Huskies went 2-0-1 to open conference action with wins at Drexel and Charleston and a tie against UNCW. Undefeated in conference action, Northeastern currently sits atop the CAA North standings with seven points.
- IT'S LULA'S WORLD: Freshman Lula Arcila was named CAA Rookie of the Week during the first two weeks of CAA action. Through three CAA games, the Miami native leads all conference players with three goals and seven points.
- PRIDE ON THE LINE: Northeastern and Hofstra are set to meet at Parsons for the first time since 2024, a narrow 2-1 win for the Pride. Hofstra won the 2025 matchup 2-0, the first time in six meetings the game was decided between the two schools by more than one goal. NU is looking for its first win against the Pride since 2022 and the Huskies own a 10-21-3 all-time record against Hofstra. The Pride sit at 2-5-4 overall and 1-0-2 in CAA play.
Northeastern will next host Elon on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
