BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team is set for an important week of CAA action with two games at Parsons Field beginning with Elon on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. The Huskies will then take on Campbell on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. Both games will stream on FloCollege and Sunday's game will also be live on NESN.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- LAST TIME OUT: The Huskies dropped their first CAA match in a narrow 2-1 loss to Hofstra. Sophomore Ava Gialanella scored for NU in the loss, her second goal of the season. Northeastern sits at 2-1-1 in CAA play and third overall in the CAA North standings with seven points.
- A LOOK AT THE PHOENIX: Elon are the reigning CAA Champions and were picked to finish first in the CAA South division. The Phoenix are 7-2-3 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play, they most recently fell to UNCW, 5-1. The Huskies own a 5-4-1 all-time record against Elon, with their last win coming in 2023. Isa Murdock leads the Phoenix with six goals and 16 points, while Talia Feigin leads all CAA players with six assists.
- SCOUTING THE CAMELS: Campbell and Northeastern are meeting for just the third time in program history on Sunday, with NU owning a 1-0-1 record against the Camels. Campbell sits at 3-6-4 and 0-2-2 in conference play, they'll face Monmouth before traveling to Parsons. Avery Garrett has a team-high three goals and Abby Connolly leads all Camels with seven points.
The Huskies will next hit the road to face Towson on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m.
