BOSTON -- The Northeastern women's basketball team (7-16, 3-10 CAA) heads south for a pair of conference road games to close out the regular season. The Huskies travel to Greensboro, N.C., to face N.C. A&T (9-15, 4-9 CAA) on Friday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m. at Corbett Sports Center before making the short trip to Elon (11-13, 6-6 CAA) for a Sunday afternoon contest against the Phoenix on Sunday, Feb. 22, 1 p.m.at the Schar Center. Both games will be streamed on FloCollege.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

1. LAST TIME OUT: Northeastern snapped second-place Stony Brook's four-game winning streak with a 73-60 victory over the Seawolves at Cabot Center on Sunday, earning the Huskies' second home CAA win of the season. Sophomore guard Camryn Collins led the way with a career-high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting, going a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line and adding three assists and a steal. Junior forward Justice Tramble contributed a double-digit effort of 15 points and seven rebounds, and junior guard Yirsy Quéliz chipped in 12 points and four assists. The win marked a bounce-back effort following a 69-47 home loss to College of Charleston on Thursday, in which the Huskies shot just 30% from the field. Northeastern shot 58.5%, a season-high, in the win over Stony Brook.

2. SCOUTING THE AGGIES: The Aggies are the reigning CAA regular-season champions under 14th-year head coach Tarrell Robinson, who earned the 2024-25 CAA Coach of the Year award after guiding N.C. A&T to a 15-3 conference record and the program's first-ever CAA title. The Aggies are led by redshirt senior center Chaniya Clark (12.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg, All-CAA Preseason First Team) and junior forward Paris Locke (10.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg, All-CAA Preseason Second Team), with graduate guard D'Mya Tucker (11.2 ppg) rounding out a deep three-headed scoring attack. Northeastern trails the all-time series 1-4, with the Aggies escaping with an 84-83 overtime victory at Cabot Center on Jan. 9 — a game in which Taylor Holohan set her career high of 22 points.

3. SCOUTING THE PHOENIX: Elon has navigated a challenging season after some touch injury losses. Freshman guard Ashanti Fox has stepped up to earn the CAA's Rookie of the Week award twice, averaging 12.0 points per game in conference play while leading the team with a 36.1% mark from three-point range. Head coach Charlotte Smith, in her 15th season, has kept the Phoenix competitive in the CAA's middle tier with contributions from graduate forward Quinzia Fulmore, sophomore transfer LaNae' Corbett and senior guard Laila Anderson. Defensively, Elon held opponents to just 24.5% shooting from three-point range during the non-conference portion of the schedule, ranking inside the top 20 nationally. The Huskies and Phoenix most recently met on NU's senior day in 2025, with the Huskies gutting out a 49-43 win over the Phoenix in the Cabot Center.
