Hryckowian, Borgesi, Zacher Earn Hockey East All-Star Accolades

AMESBURY, Mass. — The Northeastern men's hockey landed three players on the Hockey East All-Star teams following the 2025–26 regular season. Junior Dylan Hryckowian earned First Team honors, while senior Vinny Borgesi and junior Lawton Zacher were each named to the Second Team.

Hryckowian leads the Huskies across the board offensively, posting team-highs in goals (15), assists (22) and points (37). The 5-10 forward also leads Northeastern with 107 shots on goal and boasts a plus-eight rating. For the third straight season, Hryckowian has eclipsed 30 points, doing so with remarkable regularity by appearing on the scoresheet in all but eight games. The Quebec native also paced the Huskies with 13 multi-point performances throughout the season. During Hockey East regular-season play, he tied for fourth in the conference with 22 points and tied for fifth with 13 assists while ranking third overall with a 1.16 points-per-game average.

Borgesi continues to deliver another strong campaign, appearing in all 35 games for Northeastern. The 5-8 defenseman leads all Husky blueliners with 20 points, tallying five goals and 15 assists while matching his career high in goals. Borgesi also set new career bests in blocked shots (72), shots on goal (81), and power-play goals (2). For the second consecutive season, the Philadelphia native leads the entire NCAA in average time on ice, skating 27:04 per contest. During the Hockey East regular season, Borgesi ranked among the conference's top defensemen in multiple categories, finishing tied for first in power-play goals (2), second in blocked shots (49), and tied for fourth in points (14), goals (3), and assists (11).

In net, Zacher stands out as one of the nation's best, posting 15 wins and a nation-leading five shutouts. The goaltender has logged 1852:55 minutes between the pipes while posting a .931 save percentage, the third-best mark in the country, and 899 saves, which ranks eighth nationally. Concluding the Hockey East regular season, the New York native recorded 10 wins in 1255:49 minutes of action. His three shutouts, .930 save percentage, 613 saves, and 2.20 goals-against average all ranked second in the conference. Zacher's stellar season has also earned him national recognition, as he was named a semifinalist for the 2026 Mike Richter Award.
