BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team closes out the regular season on Tuesday night when the Huskies host Monmouth. Tip-off at the Cabot Center is set for 7 p.m. on FloCollege.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

1. SERIES HISTORY VS. MONMOUTH
Northeastern and Monmouth will be meeting for the ninth time, with the Hawks holding a 5-3 advantage in the series. Monmouth picked up an 81-68 win earlier this season in West Long Branch.

2. DIMES
Junior
Mike Loughnane has played in every game this season, including 20 straight starts. He is fourth in the CAA in assist-turnover ratio (2.3).

He had a career day vs. Charleston on Jan. 31, going for 24 points on 11-of-16 shooting along with four assists. He leads the team with 101 assists, including a career-high nine against Elon (Jan. 15) and at William & Mary (Feb. 26), marking the first time 2020 that Northeastern gone consecutive seasons with a player who reached 100 assists.

His father, Bill, played at Northeastern from 1976-80, and is the program's record holder in single-game assists (15 vs. Delaware on Dec. 29, 1977), and third in team history with 500 assists in 100 games.

3. THE ROAD AHEAD
The Huskies will turn their attention next to 2026 Air Force Reserve CAA Men's Basketball Championship, which begins on Friday. Northeastern will take on No. 12 seed North Carolina A&T at 2 p.m. on FloCollege, with the winner advancing to Saturday's Second Round game at 2:30 p.m. against the No. 5 seed in the tournament.
